This week’s Carnival of Nonprofit Consultants is up at Zen and the Art of Nonprofit Technology. Michelle asked bloggers to talk about the mistakes we’ve made with clients and she got a few very honest and interesting replies. Check it out — it’s great reading for consultants and those who hire them.

Next week the Carnival travels to The Bamboo Project. Our hostess Michele would like us to participate in Blog Action Day, where the theme is the environment. Write your post on Monday, October 15 with some environmental tie-in and then send your permalink to Michele at npc.carnival @ yahoo.com or use the Blog Carnival form. Michele will then post the carnival on Wednesday instead of the usual Monday.

Britt Bravo has posted the Carnival of Nonprofit Consultants this week on the theme of having fun while doing good (which is also her blog theme). Fun cartoons, some great case studies, and insightful lessons — all sure to produce at least a smirk, if not a full-on smile.

Next week the Carnival moves to Zen and the Art of Nonprofit Technology, where Michelle is asking nonprofit consultants these questions: We all make mistakes in our work with clients. What mistakes have you learned the most from? How do you deal with making mistakes? Not a consultant, you say? Then answer the question from your perspective of working with the people your nonprofit considers its clients. Share what you’ve learned from your mistakes by submitting your blog post by Friday night using our handy dandy BlogCarnival form.
