		<description>I agree on the broad brushstrokes, but, personally, I think you made a mistake advising people to save a logo as a JPG.

JPG is unsuitable for logos because it is a compression system designed for photos - it can't handle flat blocks of colour or hard edges. Since logos are always blocks of colour with hard edges, they should be saved as GIF (or PNG).

The last entry in my long-dead blog is about this. I posted sample pictures to show the differences in quality.
