$1K is a pretty tight budget... but I know of a way to get huge exposure online, to literally millions of potential donors, volunteers, and advocates, without spending a dime.

It's called good2gether, and its a new search and social media web service that's free for nonprofits. Basically, nonprofits "join" the good2gether network (again, at no cost), create a profile for their organization using a simple online form (if you can type, you can use it!). Your profile can include program info, volunteer opps, donation needs, fundraising events, job postings, cause category, and more. Then you click "submit" and instantly your profile is published to dozens of high-traffic websites, like the website of the major newspaper in your community (which typically sees several MILLION monthly visitors).

Better yet, good2gether is not only free for nonprofits, there's also an optional fundraising component, so you can in fact raise money... while you're raising money ;).

good2gether launches in Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Houston, New York, and dozens of other markets beginning mid-May... but now is the time to learn about it and join the network. In fact, there's a series of free "sneak peek" events in Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, and online over the next few weeks where you can meet good2gether's CEO, ask questions, hear the full story, and learn about some of the fantastic orgs that are already on board (like American Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Audubon Society, EarthShare, CompassPoint, and dozens of others). You can register for one of these events at http://www.good2gether.com/events or if you'd rather just dig in and create your free profile, you can do that at http://www.good2gether.com/join

Full disclosure: I'm the Marketing Director at good2gether, so this is a bit of shameless self-promotion, but the fact is I believe so much in what we're doing and its enormous potential to bring HUGE visibility to the nonprofit community, that I can't resist!

Hope to "see" all of you on good2gether soon!
