I would like to comment on some of the contradictions that I have heard from everyday people on the street. Within the same conversation I heard one person say that "Obama was elected not based on skin color, but on merits alone". Then the same person said "It is a historic day in America to have the first black president".? Now which one is it. As they say you can't have your cake and eat it too.
