I heart postcards. Especially now, when attention is more difficult to get than ever.

Take a look at this fantastic service for postcard mailings http://is.gd/pGFe

Best,
Nancy

I love this suggestion Kivi! It's also more environmentally friendly, which many people are thinking about these days. So right on about how people read their mail as well.

This format also would be much easier to plan and adjust during times when your message may differ from one week to the next. Newsletters can take weeks or even months to plan and print. Much less administrative overhead with postcards.

I'm going to point people to this post on my next podcast - hope more people start trying it out.

A terrific idea! And I'm willing to bet that postcards are one of the few posted items (next to something that obviously a cheque) that is almost guaranteed to be looked at. In fact, there's no telling how many eyes will look at/read that postcard, on its way to the addressee!

This is an excellent idea! I can see it working a little differently for a number of constituent groups. I am (now) thinking about a postcard campaign to introduce our organization to the 1,000 business members of the Chamber we just joined. A quick, easy way to do so...now, need to determine message...Thanks!!
