I love the window seatI love getting to meet our blog readers in person, so if you will be attending any of these events, please find me and say Hello! I’m usually around for awhile both before and after I speak.

February 12-13, Tampa, FL, UST Annual Meeting (private).  I’ll be leading some discussions on marketing campaigns and how to repurpose and leverage content.

February 23, Orlando, FL, SeriousFun Children’s Network Annual Conference. I’ll be helping executive directors and communications staff at SeriousFun camps see how they can work together more effectively, and then presenting a workshop on being a CALM not BUSY communications pro.

February 29- March 1, Wilmington, NC, QENO Nonprofit Marketing Seminars at UNC Wilmington. On Monday afternoon, we’ll sketch out donor communications plans and on Tuesday morning, we’ll discuss how board members can be great ambassadors and storytellers for their nonprofits.

March 23-25, San Jose, CA, Nonprofit Technology Conference. I’m moderating a panel on Regaining Control of Your Worklife and presenting in another session on Creating Content Calendars.  This is my favorite national conference for communications directors.

April 4-5, Cary, NC, Create Good Conference.  I’m doing a brand-new pre-conference workshop on Monday called “Putting the ‘Direct’ Back in Communications Director: How to Successfully and Happily Manage from the Middle at Your Nonprofit.” During the main conference on Tuesday, I’ll be participating in a lunch Q & A and in the Closing Session.  This is the second year of the Create Good Conference and it’s my favorite regional conference for communications directors in the Mid-Atlantic.

I hope to see you there!
