Brought to you by the League of Women Voters of California. |
Thursday, December 17, 2009
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. PT
Join League leaders from around California for a fast-paced, fun online training on Marketing 101.
During this webinar, you’ll get the know-how you need to recruit new members and build more support for your local League of Women Voters. We’ll discuss
- What marketing is (everyone’s responsibility and essential to your growth) and isn’t (something you assign to one volunteer and forget about)
- Why the “general public” is a myth, and how to focus in on the people who matter most to your success
- How to grow your email list and produce an e-newsletter that people really do read (and how you can tell if they are or not!)
- Branding basics: How to get your choir singing from the same songbook.
All in one hour?
Yes, we’ll be covering quite a bit, it’s true! The good news is that this is just the beginning. After you complete the Marketing 101 training, you’ll be eligible for more in-depth training on the communications topics of your choice from Nonprofit Marketing Guide.com and the League of Women Voters of California.
