Welcome to this week’s Mixed Links!

CharityHowTo has launched a new set of  Quick Tip Videos that will help with some of your social media how-to questions.

Speaking of videos, here’s a great one from our friends in the UK. Check it out to see how nonprofits in the UK are using the web and hopefully become inspired to do more online yourself.

Be sure to also check out this new tool from &you that takes volunteer and job opportunities, ways to donate, events and news, and brings them together in a widget you can put on Facebook, website or blog. The widget pulls from partners such as VolunteerMatch, Network for Good and GuideStar.

NTEN has some great stuff on email and online marketing with Fusing Mobile Fundraising with Email & Social Media Outreach and Fourteen Ways to Improve Your Open Rate.

Wednesday, October 5, Nancy Schwartz is presenting “The 4 Keys to Pitch-Perfect Messaging,” a webinar that will help you connect with your target audience.

Jeff Brooks delivers the proof about why storytelling works in fundraising with “The Best Fundraising Stories Are the Vivid Ones.”

Finally, Big Duck hosted this month’s Nonprofit Blog Carnival and has all the goodies from this month’s topic, multi-channel marketing. Rachel from Big Duck will share some of their multi-channel tips with us in a webinar later in October.

And speaking of webinars, here is the upcoming schedule. The All-Access Pass gets you into all of them:
