In the 2014 Nonprofit Communications Trends Report, a majority of survey participants with every job title, and every age group, said they felt overworked. There are simply too many marketing choices available, and too little time to get it all done well.

So how do you find the balance that allows you to market your nonprofit successfully without burning out?

During this webinar, we’ll attack the problem head on, in a number of different ways, keeping in mind that some things are within your own control, and some things are not.

We’ll start with big-picture strategic decisions, like your goals, primary calls to action, and story arcs. Without these, you have nothing through which to filter all those “good opportunities” and your workload quickly overflows its boundaries.

Next, we’ll look at both the number of communications channels you are responsible for and the frequency of communications, because these are huge factors in your marketing workload. We’ll look at a handful of different combinations (e.g. editorial calendars) that can be reasonably accomplished part-time and full-time.

Finally, we’ll explore ways to work more efficiently, including tips for writing faster, curating content from others, and repurposing strategies that allow you to get more out of the content you create.

We’ll also provide some tips on how to discuss your workload with others, especially those who are piling it on!
