HeartAs you know, our annual Nonprofit Communications Trends Survey is open, and will be through November 30. (Take it now).

Even though we’ll collect data for another 10 days, I can’t help but take little peeks into the early results.

Here are two stats that I find encouraging:

Almost half of nonprofit communications staff say this is their chosen profession and they plan to stay in the field of nonprofit communications.

and

Almost half of nonprofit communications staff say the plan to stay in their current positions for at least another three years. 

This makes me happy because it shows that people really do see this work as a profession, and one that they want to learn and grow in.

I love this work so much, and it warms my heart to see a real community of people coming together who love it as much as I do!
