You know you need to do more video. But, ugh, getting started is so hard! This is especially true when you are really trying to get other staff to do more videos and they are nervous about it too.

During this Jump Starter workshop, we’ll give you ten different types of videos that you might want to consider. And even better, we’ll help you prioritize your top three to start working on as “your style of videos” so you can move forward in a strategic way.

During this Jump Starter, you’ll receive:

  • Quick training on 10 different types of nonprofit videos.

  • Small group discussion time to help you prioritize what you really need most and which ONE type you should start with. Do you need educational explainers or is your strategy all about saying thank you to donors and volunteers? Are you using behind-the-scenes video to build trust or do you need videos to motivate specific calls to action? We’ll help you sort it out and find the place to start.

  • Guidance on starting small and growing over time. Video has a lot of stumbling blocks and potential hurdles. We’ll share some advice on how to make it easier as your grow into using video more regularly.

  • Time to begin working on your strategy. You’ll have time to begin some basic storyboarding of the videos you want to create first, so you can use those in conversations with other staff.

  • Instructions on how to get feedback from other All-Access Pass Holders and Kivi Leroux Miller on your approach to video.

What Others Have Said about Our Jump Starter Workshops

“I appreciate the interactive component of the Jumpstart workshop. It was valuable having the opportunity to apply what we are learning during the session. Instead of setting myself a reminder to “do this,” I came away with a framework I can put use almost immediately. Thank you! This is a great direction to take your training sessions.” – Holly Pattison

“I loved connecting with others. I can not say enough how much I like the dedicated work time.” – Beth Helmueller-Perkins

“I loved the hands-on time to start building something useful. And the general vibe felt more casual and accessible than a webinar, which was really fun and refreshing.” – J.G.

“My favorite part of the Jump Starter was receiving guidance and coaching, getting to talk with colleagues, and leaving with practical tools! This is an excellent companion to your regular webinars.” – Aimee Cotton Bogush

“I really loved the interactive style.” – Bethany

“It was great. The short session helped me realize it doesn’t take a lot of time to get these things done. These are a good companion to your lecture-style training. You all are my favorite!” – Leili Khalessi

“I liked this format – instead of just giving me ideas, it gave me space to start working with them in real time & ask any immediate questions that came up through that.” – Anna Mullen
