I’ve been doing a ton of research and thinking about social media strategies for nonprofits, especially those of you without dedicated social media staff, ahead of the two new webinars I am teaching in April: Social Media Strategies for Nonprofits that Won’t Waste Your Time.

What is most likely to work regardless of the platform or future algorithm changes? The framework above is what I am recommending and what I’ll be teaching in the webinars.

I explored the left side of the framework — the Be Personal side — in today’s Facebook Live because I think it has huge implications for the jobs descriptions of your comms team and how social media is staffed throughout the organization.
