"I love the All-Access Pass, and reference the available resources all the time! Having access to all of your webinars helps me stay attuned to nonprofit communications trends and best practices. This is a huge benefit, as the field is constantly evolving, and it’s hard to stay on top of it all. I know that with the Pass, you all are staying on top of the trends, and I just have to absorb. The Pass has also exposed me to important topics and information that I wouldn’t have necessarily made time in my day to explore otherwise. I have found that because of the Pass, I make more space in my week to take a step back and reflect and learn—it’s truly been an asset for my own professional development. Lastly, the Facebook group has been such a source of great ideas and support. Whenever I feel stuck, I know that I have a group of fellow smart and creative professionals. It’s been a wonderful community to tap into." - Rosie Aquila, Communications and Marketing Manager at Iona Senior Services and All-Access Pass Holder
In 2019, we are introducing a new way for you to manage your professional development called the Five Levels of Marketing Maturity. After more than a decade of training and coaching nonprofit communicators like you and compiling groundbreaking research on the profession via our annual Nonprofit Communications Trends Reports, we are now able to see the path that nonprofit communicators most often follow as they grow both personally and professionally in their jobs.
We've labeled these five levels (1) Beginner, (2) Capable, (3) Skilled, (4) Advanced, and (5) Expert. We've developed a very simple quiz to estimate your level, but you can change it at any time. Each of the online courses available to Pass Holders has been assigned a level, allowing you to focus on the training options that we believe will best meet your needs where you are.
We hope this customization will prevent you from being overwhelmed by all of the training we have available. But, of course, Pass Holders have access to all of the courses at every level 24/7, so you can jump around as you wish.
Here's a sampling of courses currently available:
- Your Quick Guide to Content Curation (Recommended for Levels 1 and 2)
- 20 Days to More Powerful Writing (Recommended for Levels 1 and 2)
- Creating Awesome Nonprofit Email Newsletters (Recommended for Levels 2 and 3)
- Creating an Email Welcome Series (Recommended for Levels 2 and 3)
- Thank You Letter Basics (Recommended for Levels 2 and 3)
- Managing a Healthy, Engaged Email List (Recommended for Levels 3 and 4)
- Inclusive Conversations and Cultural Competency (Recommended for Levels 4 and 5)
- Creating a Management Structure for Your Communications Work (Recommended for Levels 4 and 5)
- Measuring Your Effectiveness: Concepts and Frameworks (Recommended for Levels 4 and 5)
The courses vary in format – some are strictly text-based, some include webinars, and others have shorter videos. They will all either have homework assignments or a quiz to help you better understand and implement the information.
So whether you are at the top of your game or just starting out, we have a training plan for you.
(You can find your Marketing Maturity Level when you access Your Personal Dashboard for the first time.)
"I've been a Pass Holder a long time, a REALLY long time and I'm still learning from the webinars and Facebook Group exchanges. I look to Kivi, Kristina and the host of experts they pull together to help me navigate "The Noise." My All-Access Pass has been -- BY FAR -- the most valuable professional tool I've purchased in the last 10 years. I value it so much that if my boss won't pay for it, I pay for it myself. But my real value clincher comes from the community of professionals who make up our All-Access Pass community - they make the The Pass totally worth it too!" - Tara Collins, Director of Communications & Resource Development at RUPCO and All-Access Pass Holder
We focus our training webinars on these general topics that are essential to good nonprofit communications today:
- Scheduling your communications, with editorial calendars and other planning tools.
- Motivating your community to act, including marketing and advocacy campaigns.
- Updating your community, with newsletters and social media.
- Becoming a media darling, and positioning yourself as a thought leader.
- Reporting back to your supporters, via annual reports, videos, and more.
- Managing your communications team and personal productivity.
"I love how generous the Nonprofit Marketing Guide is with sharing their knowledge. The content is always to the point, relevant and practical. After reading an article or taking one of the webinars included with the All-Access Pass, I feel like I could apply all or part of what I have learned immediately after. And the sanity check from having a community that is working through the same challenges is nice." - Rachel Braver, Communications Coordinator at Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano and All-Access Pass Holder
