On the Calendar

11/6: Book Lovers Day. Share your favorite books relating to the work your nonprofit does.

11/11: Veteran’s Day. Highlight volunteers, staff, or clients who have served in the military.

11/13: World Kindness Day. Feature those volunteers who go above and beyond making your clients feel loved. Or share how your supporters can show kindness to others in a way that aligns with your cause.

11/15: America Recycles Day. Share how your organization recycles. For a twist, try “recycling” old content that got a good response.

11/15: National Philanthropy Day. Recognize your greatest supporters.

11/20: Absurdity Day. Take the opportunity to do something crazy! Social media is great for these kinds of things. Or dispel an absurd notion people believe about your organization.

11/25: Thanksgiving (U.S.). Thank supporters, clients, and volunteers. Email messages of gratitude around Thanksgiving are a great way to kick off a series of fundraising emails in November and December.
