Kivi working with participants in the DC workshop

Kivi working with participants at the DC Total Focus workshop

Nancy Schwartz and I are taking the Total Focus Nonprofit Marketing Plan Workshop west this year, with a day in beautiful Seattle, Washington. We’ll be there on Thursday, June 16, 2011 to work with up to 25 nonprofits to create a real-world marketing plan for their organizations. On October 12, we’ll return to Manhattan to present the workshop there for a second year.

During the workshop, Nancy and I walk you through eight essential steps to building a solid nonprofit marketing plan. You not only get our expert advice, but we give you plenty of time during the workshop to work on your own and in small groups, to start drafting your plan on the spot. Your workshop binder includes not only our presentation notes and worksheets, but lots of additional resources to help you finish your plan and implement it back at the office.

I’ll be honest . . . this workshop isn’t cheap. I offer webinars for $35 each, so the $697 fee may feel a little steep to some of you. But we’ve heard from several participants from the Washington DC and New York workshops we did last fall who’ve said it’s the best nonprofit marketing training they’ve ever attended.

Here’s how two participants described the day . . .

“A full, well-structured, useful and refreshing workshop! It provided me with tangible and useful guidance, and a time and space to think big.”

~ Amy Wolf, Communications Officer, The New York Community Trust

“As a result of participating in your outstanding workshop, I am re-focused on exactly what I need to do to create an effective marketing plan. And now I know the steps I need to take to transform that plan from paper into actions that are understood and adopted throughout the organization.”

~ Sandra Lundgren, Communications Specialist, Westport Public Library

These workshops are several months away, but I wanted to tell you about them now, so you have plenty of time to think about attending. If you’ve been frustrated by working without a strategy and haven’t been able to make the time for it, do yourself a big favor. Mark June 16 or October 12 on your calendar now, and join us. You’ll be so glad you did!
